I took sunset photographs in many locations over many years. I was rarely alone. People from different lives arrived without judgment, sharing the same quiet attention.
The silhouettes remove sub-characteristics without removing presence. Billions of unique minds remain one species, capable of awe and conflict at once.
We came from the oceans for the sake of sunlight.
