I do not ask one photograph to tell the whole truth.
A city can share a surface with a memory. Three birds can step into a novel. Several seconds can become one impossible instant.
Compositing is how I let different times and places look back at one another. The camera gathers evidence; the finished image refuses a single point of view.
These works move through Istanbul, New York, Paris, Costa Rica, and invented worlds. Some began as double exposures inside the camera. Others bring many photographs together until memory becomes architecture.
