Seize meets its first audience.
The film
A runway becomes a chase.
During a fashion show, a spy tries to intercept a flash drive being passed through the room. Dolls, a handmade set and thousands of individually arranged frames turn the runway into a small world of pursuit.

Seize met journalists, critics, artists and other guests at Institut français Türkiye’s Istanbul branch. The gala treated the screening as more than a film launch: a room shaped around cinema, fashion and the tactile labor behind stop motion.
Tanju Babacan Studio presented the evening with Institut français Türkiye, Coffee Department and Leonidas. The film was created for RED BEARD and conceived as the beginning of a larger cinematic world.

Then let time happen.
Burcin IO directed the film after a production process lasting nearly two years. The work stayed inside the studio: handmade construction, observation, repeated tests and a frame-by-frame rhythm built on twelve unique images per second.
Seda Akkuş entered the studio as a fashion intern and, after an intensive period of workshops, became part of the animation process. Special mechanisms and 3D-printed accessories helped the miniature runway perform movements designed one adjustment at a time.
