Abstraquarium
A serene digital aquarium where geometry, symbols, currents, and code-based behavior drift across the screen instead of fish.
Living Currents
Three artwork displays keep the page moving beyond the hero. They are intentionally slower and quieter than a gallery grid: more aquarium, less catalogue.
Mint Is Live
The collection is an open 4444-token vessel. The current public page tracks the first 78 minted works while keeping minting and project inspection one click away.
78 minted, 4444 possible
Each minted token opens a different slow-moving field of gradients, masks, glyphs, and drifting forms. The mint page on 256.art remains the public source for the latest count.
Project Statement
Abstraquarium unfolds like a serene digital aquarium. Instead of fish, geometry, symbols, currents, and code-based behavior drift across the screen, forming a contemplative world of emerging compositions.
For years, aquariums have been a place to return when the world grows too loud. This project channels that liquid silence into layered abstractions: gradient oceans, drifting glyphs, geometric masks, blending modes, and slow motion.
The longer you watch, the more harmony appears from the algorithmic depth. It is not just animation; it is a simulation of serenity, motion, and form.

Technical Notes
Abstraquarium is deterministic generative p5.js work seeded by each token hash. Its system includes 21 shape types, 52 glyphs, randomized blend modes, vertical gradients, static grids, moving line fields, animated masks, and floating characters.
The visual world combines T-shapes referencing Karahantepe and Gobeklitepe, Einstein tiles, Ethereum sigils, international characters, mathematical symbols, and custom nested forms. Motion runs at 30 FPS with responsive resizing, boundary bounce behavior, slow rotation, and pixel-density optimization.
